Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FuturaDev ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MemoClash mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data

If you create an account, we collect:

• Username
• Password (securely hashed by Firebase Authentication; we never store or see your plain-text password)
• Avatar selection and color preference
• Account creation date

Gameplay Data

When you play the game, we collect:

• Game difficulty level
• Number of moves and star rating
• Game duration
• Combo streaks and category played
• Achievement progress and unlock timestamps

Leaderboard Data

• Player name, avatar, scores, and rankings
• Your leaderboard entries are visible to other users

Multiplayer Data

• Player name and avatar
• ELO rating, wins, losses, and ties
• Game session data (card sequences, scores, room codes)

Analytics and Crash Data

• App usage events (e.g., game started, game completed)
• Crash reports and diagnostic information
• Device type, operating system version, and app version

2. Data Stored Locally

The following preferences are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers:

• Language preference
• Theme and appearance settings
• Volume and haptics settings
• Selected card back design

This data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Guest Mode

You can use the App without creating an account. In guest mode, no account data is collected. Gameplay data is stored locally on your device only, and leaderboard and multiplayer features are limited.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following Firebase (Google) services to operate the App:

• Firebase Authentication — secure user sign-in and account management
• Cloud Firestore — storing game data, leaderboards, and achievements
• Firebase Analytics — understanding app usage to improve the experience
• Firebase Crashlytics — detecting and fixing crashes
• Firebase Storage — hosting game category images

These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Data processed by these services may include your IP address and device identifiers.

5. Permissions

• Internet — required for Firebase connectivity, multiplayer, and leaderboards
• Vibration — used for haptic feedback during gameplay (can be disabled in settings)
• Notifications — used for daily challenge reminders (optional, requires your permission)

6. Data Retention

• Multiplayer game sessions: automatically deleted after 7 days
• Leaderboard entries: retained while your account exists
• User accounts: retained until you request deletion
• Local preferences: deleted when you uninstall the App
• Crash reports: retained per Google's standard Firebase Crashlytics retention policy

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described in Section 4 (Firebase/Google services required to operate the App). Your username and avatar are visible to other players on leaderboards and in multiplayer games.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data by contacting us
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
• Opt out of analytics by disabling usage data sharing in your device settings

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and Google Cloud to protect your data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
